It’s been a solid week of swell on the Isle of Wight with strong easterlies making for some “interesting” days on the SW facing coastline. Here’s a few photos from an early morning session at Freshwater Bay on Friday 14th December.

Good test for the camera too, shooting fast moving subjects in the gloom before the sun managed to peek through the clouds. It did OK after a while but the earliest shots are very grainy at 12,800 ISO (some might like the film-like effect, others will hate it)

My photos were shot with a Canon 6d II with the 70-200 f2.8L lens and a 2x extender
