A fair amount of surfers did make it in at the bay, but they were spread out all day, there was a dozen in first thing, and that number remained pretty steady throughout the day with all the comings and goings, maybe you got lucky and had a quiet time? I agree the SUP was not the tool for the day, or the location, but my surfboard needs fixing, and I couldn't resist getting out. My personal opinion is that i'm not sure the bay is the place for SUP's on a day like that, unless your really experienced, its a bit dangerous for the others out there with that huge board, but then again, i dont make the rules, its a free world (mostly) and you did show a lot of balls and commitment in some heavy waves. hello eric, fair play for owning up :) i’ve got a few more shots of you that i’ll be posting in the coming days, some are pretty cool.
